Lambades ( Wedding Candles ) by Glitter are unique and original whereby, every set of Lambades are hand made with the utmost care and perfection. The selection of lambades that you will see below are only a small sampling of what can be created.

For your Greek Wedding you will need four candles. Two large lambades (labathes) candles are placed on church stands next to the altar table and two small lambades candles for the Bride and Groom. The two small candles for the Bride and Groom are given to them to hold by the Priest towards the end of the Wedding ceremony. The two small candles are usually decorated in a simple manner whereas the larger one's are more ornate. The candles symbolize that Christ, the Light of the World will light the way of their new life together. The priest will then lead the couple around the altar table three times as he holds the Bible in his hands he will remind the Bride and Groom that the word of God should lead them through life. The circle symbolizes an eternal marriage, as a circle has neither a beginning or an end.
All of the Lambades (lambathes) that you see below are sold in sets of 2. You will also receive the two smaller lambades decorated with the same theme as the two large lambades at no extra charge!!
